2 doubles, and a small twin ..best suited to children share a family bathroom and a downstairs shower room. There is also a 3rd single bedroom used for storing our ‘stuff’. This can be made available upon request.
Fully equipped Kitchen/Dining Room/Snug with wood burning fire. There is also a seperate lounge with sofa, armchairs and TV
Broadband is available, not the fastest in the world, but good enough for Fire TV stick etc
The 1 acre wild garden is relatively dog proof
although a very small mutt might escape under the gate.
Well behaved dogs are welcome. Beware farm livestock grazing in fields around the cottage
Sun trap garden (when sunny!) Fabulous walks all around. Family run pub a miles walk away.
If you are afraid of sheep, cows or getting your car dirty this will not be the place for you but if you want to find somewhere quiet, warm and cosy to get away from it all it definitely is.
Ffos y Ffin is situated on Llanbister Common and is surrounded by moorland and farmland.
Wildlife is abundant with Meadow Pipit's, Wheatears, Yellow Hammers, Skylarks and Snipe being among some of the visitors to the neighbouring heathland. Light pollution is of a bare minimum and we can boast some exceptional dark skies in the area. From

We are also about 25 minutes by car from Builth Wells making Ffos y Finn a great location for people attending events at The Royal Welsh Showground
